The 28×9-15 is a large-format solid forklift tyre used on some of the toughest machines in the industry. Unlike the inch-decimal sizing used on most forklift tyres (like 7.00-12 or 8.25-15), the 28x9-15 uses cross-section notation: the tyre has an overall diameter of 28 inches, a 9-inch tread width, and fits a 15-inch rim. This format is typical of larger counterbalance forklifts — LPG, diesel, and heavy electric machines in the 4-tonne to 8-tonne class.

At this size, tyre fitting is a job for the right equipment — you need a press or proper mounting gear to seat the tyre correctly on the rim. If you don't have the capability in-house, our technicians can assist with fitment. Don't try to force this size onto a rim without the right tools — improper mounting creates safety risks and shortens tyre life significantly.
