Doosan Forklift Parts We Supply

01

GENUINE OEM COMPONENTS

We stock genuine Doosan parts. Not copies. Not “compatible” parts. The actual parts that came fitted to your machine when it was built. There’s a reason for that – these components are engineered to work together. Pattern parts might look similar and cost less, but they’re not made to the same specs.

02

PLANNED MAINTENANCE PARTS

Maintenance is cheaper than repairs. Everyone knows this, but it’s still tempting to skip services when things are busy. Don’t. We supply maintenance kits that include everything your tech needs for scheduled servicing – filters, oils, greases, the works. Tell us your model and serial number, we’ll match the kit to your machine.

03

EMERGENCY BREAKDOWN SUPPORT

Machines break at the worst possible times. Friday afternoon. Saturday morning. Middle of a busy shift. We get it. When you’ve got a critical forklift down, we drop everything to help. We’ll check stock straight away, call our suppliers if needed, and get a courier organised.

04

WEAR PARTS AND CONSUMABLES

Some parts just wear out. That’s life. Tyres get chewed up. Filters get blocked. Brake pads wear down. Fork tines get damaged. We stock all this stuff because replacing worn parts is way cheaper than fixing the damage they cause.

05

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM PARTS

Hydraulics do the heavy lifting. When they start playing up, you’ll notice – slow lifts, jerky movements, fluid leaking everywhere. We stock hoses, seals, pumps, cylinders, control valves. Pretty much everything in a Doosan hydraulic system.

06

ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS

Modern forklifts run on electronics as much as mechanics. Batteries, alternators, starter motors, sensors, switches, control modules – they all need to play nice together. When electrical stuff goes wrong, it’s frustrating to figure out. We stock replacement parts and can dig up technical specs when your tech is stuck.

Why South African Businesses Keep Coming Back

EXPERIENCE THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

53 years in the forklift game. That’s a lot of parts ordered, problems solved, and machines fixed. We’ve pretty much seen it all by now. This matters when you’re on the phone trying to figure out what’s broken – we can usually narrow it down based on what you’re describing.

LOCAL UNDERSTANDING OF OPERATING CONDITIONS

South African conditions are harsh. Load shedding stuffs up operations and puts extra strain on equipment. Dust everywhere – mines, farms, construction sites – it accelerates wear. Temperature swings affect your fluids and hydraulics.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT FROM QUALIFIED PEOPLE

Right part, wrong installation = same problem again. Our team includes former forklift techs who actually understand how these systems work. When you call, you’re talking to someone who can help, not someone reading from a script.

TRANSPARENT PRICING AND NO SURPRISES

We tell you the price before you buy. If something’s expensive, we say so upfront. Hidden fees are dodgy. We’re not interested in pulling that stuff. Some parts cost a fortune – that’s just how it is with precision engineering. But you deserve to know before you’re committed. We’ll explain why genuine parts cost more than copies, and we’ll respect your decision either way. Sometimes budgets are tight. We get it.

EFFICIENT PARTS SOURCING AND DELIVERY

We know people at Doosan suppliers across SA and overseas. These connections mean we can track down specialist parts faster than you probably could on your own. We do the running around so you don’t have to. Fast-moving stuff? We stock it. Everything else? We can usually confirm availability and price within a few hours on weekdays. Once you approve the quote, we sort out delivery with couriers who don’t mess around.

COMMITMENT TO GETTING YOU THE RIGHT PART

Wrong parts are frustrating. Order something, wait for it, then find out it doesn’t fit. We hate that as much as you do. So we confirm details before processing orders  model numbers, serial numbers, sometimes photos. Making sure we’re supplying the right thing. If there’s doubt about which part you need, we’ll say so. Better to spend an extra day confirming than ship something that won’t work.

Our Simple Parts Ordering Process

STEP 1: IDENTIFY YOUR NEEDS

Grab your forklift details. You need the model number and serial number – there’s usually a data plate somewhere on the machine. Got the part number already? Great. Don’t have it? No worries, most people don’t.

Forklift broken and you’re not sure what’s failed? Tell us what it’s doing. Leaking fluid? Making weird noises? Won’t start? These details help us work out what’s wrong. Photos help too – sometimes you can see the problem clearly in a picture. This takes 5-10 minutes. Better information upfront means we can get you the right parts faster.

STEP 2: CONTACT US FOR A QUOTE

Call 010 110 1819 or email sales@gpforklifts.co.za. We’re here Monday-Friday 8-5, Saturday mornings 8-1. Emergency outside these hours? Leave a message, we’ll get back to you.

We’ll confirm what you need and check if we’ve got it. Got it in stock? Quote’s immediate. Need to order it in? Give us a few hours to check with suppliers. You’ll hear back same day if you contact us during business hours.

STEP 3: APPROVE AND ORDER

Happy with the quote? Confirm the order. We’ll need your delivery address and contact number in case the courier needs to call. Got an account with us? We’ll process it against your account. New customer? Pay by EFT or card.

In-stock items ordered before 2pm on weekdays usually ship same day. After 2pm or on Saturdays? Next business day. Special orders ship when they arrive from suppliers – we’ll keep you updated.

STEP 4: RECEIVE AND INSTALL

Parts arrive by courier with tracking. We pack things properly so they don’t get damaged in transit.

Check everything when it arrives. Wrong part? Damaged? Missing something? Call us straight away and we’ll sort it out. Better to catch problems immediately.

Step 5: Emergency Response When Needed

Despite best maintenance practices, unexpected failures happen. When you contact us with a breakdown, our dispatch system immediately identifies your nearest technician and provides estimated arrival time. For critical situations where you need equipment running immediately, we sometimes arrange temporary replacements while repairs happen.

Emergency work follows the same quality standards as scheduled maintenance – we’re fixing the problem properly, not just getting you limping along until the next breakdown.

Doosan Parts Supply Across South Africa

Primary Service Regions

We ship Doosan parts anywhere in SA. Main warehouse is in Gauteng, but we've got courier networks that reach everywhere. Joburg, Durban, Cape Town, PE, Bloem, smaller towns - we can get parts to you. How fast? Gauteng usually gets next-day delivery if we ship same day. Other major centres are typically 2-3 business days. Remote areas might take 3-5 days depending on where you are.Need it urgently? We can arrange faster courier services for extra cost. Same-day in Gauteng is possible if you approve the quote early enough. We know which couriers actually deliver on time to different regions.

Extended Coverage Areas

We also service equipment in Port Elizabeth, East London, Bloemfontein, Polokwane, and Nelspruit. Response times are longer in these regions – typically same-day or next-day depending on call timing and technician availability. For scheduled maintenance, we coordinate visits efficiently to service multiple sites during single trips, keeping costs reasonable.

Remote Site Services

Some operations exist in genuinely remote areas: mines, agricultural facilities, or specialised industrial sites far from major centres. We handle these situations with advance scheduling, ensuring our technician arrives fully prepared with all likely parts and tools needed. Travel costs apply, but we minimise these by coordinating multiple maintenance activities during each visit.

On-Site Workshop Facilities

Larger facilities sometimes benefit from having a GP Forklifts technician based on-site several days weekly or even full-time. This arrangement makes sense for operations running 20+ forklifts where maintenance demands justify dedicated coverage. We discuss these options during initial assessments when fleet size suggests this approach could reduce overall costs.

Transparent Pricing for Doosan Forklift Parts

WHAT AFFECTS YOUR PARTS COST

Biggest factor? Which part you need. Complex assemblies with precision parts cost more than simple consumables. Electronics with fancy chips cost more than basic switches. Hydraulic cylinders with tight tolerances cost more than hoses. This isn't about markup - it's about what goes into making these things. Genuine Doosan parts cost more than copies because they're made to tighter specs. You're paying for quality control, engineering, warranty support. For safety-critical stuff or reliability-critical components, most customers go genuine. For basic consumables, aftermarket sometimes makes sense and we can discuss options if budget's tight.

PAYMENT METHODS

We take EFT (most common for businesses), credit card, or cash if you're collecting. Account customers with credit facilities? We process against your account with payment due on agreed terms - usually 30 days from statement.New customers generally pay before we ship, or COD. After a few successful orders, we can discuss setting up an account if that's easier. Need company docs and credit references, but it's straightforward.

HOW QUICKLY YOU GET PRICING

Stock items? Immediate quote - within minutes of calling or emailing. Special orders? Need to check with suppliers, usually takes 2-4 hours on weekdays. Something really unusual or coming from overseas? Might take 24 hours. We don't delay quotes to create fake urgency. You get accurate pricing as fast as we can give it, and it's valid for 30 days. Supplier prices change during that time? We honour the original quote if you'd already confirmed you wanted to order.

UNDERSTANDING VALUE VERSUS JUST PRICE

Cheapest isn't always best value. A pattern part that fails after six months might cost less upfront than a genuine Doosan part lasting five years. When you're comparing prices, think about: - How long will this actually last in your conditions? - What happens if it fails again - more downtime, another repair? - Any warranty or guarantee? - Will non-genuine parts void your forklift warranty? - What's the real cost including lost productivity? We'll discuss this honestly when you're deciding. Sometimes budget means you need the cheaper option - we understand that. But you should know what trade-offs you're making.

Getting Your Quote

Contact us at 010 110 1819 or info@gpforklifts.co.za with details about your forklift fleet: equipment types and ages, usage patterns (shifts per day, operating hours), current service history if available, and any immediate concerns. We'll arrange a site visit to assess your situation and provide accurate, detailed pricing within 48 hours. There's no charge for quotes or assessments, and no pressure to commit – we'd rather you make informed decisions than feel pushed into arrangements that don't fit your needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. We supply genuine Doosan OEM parts through established suppliers. Can provide documentation confirming authenticity if you need it for warranty or records. Using authorised suppliers means you’re getting real Doosan parts, not counterfeits.

Our technicians work on all major brands operating in South Africa: Toyota, Hyster, Yale, Crown, Linde, Nissan, and others including older models no longer officially supported. We maintain extensive parts networks and technical documentation covering virtually everything you’ll find in South African facilities. The occasional highly specialised or very new model might require us to bring in brand-specific expertise, but this is rare.

A comprehensive service includes hydraulic system inspection and fluid top-up, complete brake system check and adjustment, chain and mast examination, tyre inspection and pressure check, battery connections and charging system test (electric units), engine tune and filter replacement (combustion units), safety feature testing, and load test to verify capacity. We also note any developing issues requiring future attention. The whole process takes 2-4 hours depending on equipment condition and any additional work identified.

Absolutely, and we maintain detailed service records that preserve warranty coverage. Some warranties require servicing by authorised dealers, though many simply require professional maintenance documentation. We’ll review your warranty terms during assessment to ensure our servicing meets all requirements. In some cases, we coordinate with dealers to maintain warranty compliance while providing more responsive local service.

For maintenance contract customers in our primary service areas (Gauteng, KZN, Western Cape, Eastern Cape), we commit to 4-hour emergency response during business hours, next-day response after hours. Non-contract customers receive service as technician availability allows, typically same-day or next-day. Remote areas naturally take longer – we’re honest about realistic response times rather than making promises we can’t keep.

For major repairs requiring workshop time, we arrange temporary replacements when available from our rental fleet. Availability isn’t guaranteed – we prioritise based on operational urgency and existing commitments. This service is included for premium maintenance contracts and available at daily rental rates for other customers. Many repairs happen on-site during scheduled maintenance, eliminating downtime entirely.

We never pressure customers into unnecessary work. When significant repairs are needed, we explain what’s failing, what happens if you defer the work, safety implications, and cost to repair versus replace. Sometimes the sensible decision is retiring old equipment rather than investing heavily in repairs. We provide honest advice based on your operational needs and budget constraints, not what generates the highest invoice.

Certainly – many customers start with call-out service to evaluate our work before committing to contracts. When you’re ready to switch, we conduct a thorough fleet assessment to establish baseline equipment condition, then propose appropriate contract terms. Existing equipment issues might need addressing before starting preventative maintenance programs, ensuring you’re not paying for regular servicing while dealing with accumulated neglect.
